I deliver a captivating story of your love, your life. A family photo session includes many varieties of relaxed poses, both individual photos of the children as well as together with you. We can take newborn pictures, siblings portraits and couples portraits, all in the same session. You will have time to both play and pose for more traditional photos together. I will give you all the information you need before the session and guide you during the shoot, so you will know how to interact and move in order to get natural and beautiful pictures. My goal is to make you feel happy and remember the day with a smile.

Before the session
- Please tell me more about your family on the booking page: how many are you and how old are the children? When would you like to be photographed?
- Let’s find a location that fits your needs! We can photograph in a park, by a mansion, in the forest, by the ocean, or at your home. The photo session itself is a nice adventure and a moment for you to be together as a family.
After the session
- You get a password protected, beautifully curated gallery with edited, high resolution images delivered online about a week after the session.
- The invoice is sent to your e-mail after the photo delivery.

to paint with light
I choose my photo locations with care and create photo stories full of feelings, using mostly natural light. I am an experienced photographer and a mother to a toddler, so I come prepared. My style is a mix between lifestyle and documentary.

where do you photograph?
I photograph outdoors, in beautiful natural and urban settings as well as in the comfort of your home. My light sensitive lenses are perfect for capturing great images even in winter. I can also bring additional light sources if needed.
what about rain and strong wind?
Any weather is good besides rain and very strong wind – then we reschedule. Many prefer sunlight but cloudy weather is actually good for portraits: the colors pop and the light is softer on such days.
what time should we book?
Morning light is beautiful and soft. Children are usually rested and happy around that time as well. I take into consideration the children's naptimes. If the kids are up for it, sunset sessions are great as well.
how should we dress?
Clothes in matching tones are great. Materials such as wool and linen and fabrics with textures look very beautiful as well. In winter you may wear some warm layers under your outerwear, so we can take a few photos without bulky jackets.
can we bring something to the session?
It is a good idea to bring a favourite toy, book or teddy bear to the session.
If your child has a favorite snack that does not stain the clothes, please bring that too.
how to prepare the kids?
You can tell your kids a little bit about the photo session beforehand: we will play a bit and explore the photo location in a fun way. Maby you can think of a song or a game you would like to incorporate in the session?
how to prepare for a home session?
I am very happy to be able to visit you at home - I don't expect things to be all organized since I know life with small children very well. If something is in the way I will make sure to pick it up.
what if i feel insecure in front of the camera?
Dress in clothes you love! You are amazing just the way you are. A photo session is all about the feeling. When you are happy and express love, that is what you will see in the pictures. You will cherish the images of you together. My best advice is not to wait too long to document your family.
